FAQ's
These are some of the most common questions I receive.
- DO YOU OFFER PRINTS OF YOUR WORK?
I am currently working to produce a series of prints and hope to be offering them very soon! I can’t wait! Sign up for the Insiders Club to be the first to know when they are available!
- SHIPPING:
First, let me say that I take special care in packing to prepare your purchase to ship safely. Please allow 7-14 days for packing and shipping of your item. I use USPS or UPS for delivering most of my art. USPS is my preferred method. All art is insured to the full purchase value against loss or damage. If your art arrives damaged, please make sure you retain all shipping materials as they will be necessary for you to file the insurance claim. Of course, original art cannot be replaced. Prints can be reordered.
- RETURNS:
Every order is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be completely thrilled with your purchase. Because of this and because of the nature of my work, all sales are final, except in certain situations. Please email: info@lindabellreid.com with questions or concerns.
Please take the time to read the descriptions thoroughly, and check the multiple views available for an item. I try my best to represent the colors, tones, and textures in my work clearly and honestly.
- CAN I USE IMAGES OF YOUR ARTWORK?
I know that in visual arts, nothing is truly unique. If you care to use my artwork as inspiration or to spark your creativity in some way, I am absolutely flattered. But, please also understand that I must protect my work and don’t want you to copy it and call it yours or to reproduce it for resale without my explicit permission.
- WHO ACTUALLY OWNS THE ARTWORK?
I retain all the rights to the artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned works. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit (and congratulations! This means you home is super beautiful!)
When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business (hooray!) but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your art. Some collectors chose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print. I am absolutely happy to discuss this with you if you would like!
